4:53PM - Lots to update!!

Cate and I are doing wonderfully. We are actively looking for apartments, which is a little depressing, but fun at the same time. The one we were really excited about, the woman rented out, so that sucks, but we're still looking.

AND big news, we got 3 kittens...yes three because they are bothers and sisters and we couldnt seperate them...it would have been too mean! There are 2 girls, and 1 boy and they are ALL so sweet, and cuddly, and wonderful!!!

So i havent updated in a long time!! Let's see...not with Karen anymore but its actually a really good thing because I have found this new, amazing, wonderful girl named Cate. Im actually in her apartment waiting for her to get home...she's the real deal..and i love her!! Andddddddd she just got home so im going to go pay attention to her and update more another time!

I'm happy...for the first time in a while...i am really happy :)

My boss was actually making fun of me today at work because I couldn't stop smiling.

I have no idea where this is going, or whats going to happen, but for now, im actually happy.

Today i got my Wells year book...as with Carusone's my senior page is NOTHING like it was supposed to be, but oh well. its still nice to look at and remember the good times...

So Kelly and I just watched I Can(t) Marry You. Its a Gay Marriage Documentary hosted by Betty Degeneres.

It was great, but one woman of course had to prove her point why gay couples can't get married...and I quote:

"Gay couples can't get married because then sisters and brothers will think it's ok to get married, and people will be marrying their dogs..." of course there was more, but that really pissed me off.

UGH I HATE PEOPLE...well people who think like that...

Sometimes Kelly tries to be cute...and it backfires. Last night I went over to say good bye because she is currently on her way to VT for a training for work. This is what takes place:

Kelly: My new nickname for you is Eyore because you're slow, fat, and cute.

Me: WHAT?

Kelly: what's wrong its cute?

Me: you just called me fat.

Kelly: No no, i meant, you're slow, SAD, and cute. not fat.


yeah...she really knows how to show the love.

11:56AM - Great Weekend at Wells!!

Odd/Even was a great time. It was probably the closest game ever with a score of 19-18...go ODDS! What an exciting game. It was SO good to see everyone, and those of you who couldnt make it, we missed you!! I got to meet Carrie's new GF...she's awesome, 2 thumbs up to you Carrie. Thanks again to TLOML for letting Kel and I share your room, we LOVE you!!!!

On another note, on October 23rd (its a sunday) at 7:30pm there is going to be one of the biggest drag queen/king shows in Syracuse at the state fair grounds. It's Miss/Mr Gay Empire State, open to anyone who resides in NY. Kelly wants to try to buy tickets in advance, because they're going quickly, and probably wont be at the door. Anyone who wants to go with us, please let us know! Maybe we can all meet at Kellys, and try to all car pool or something. Give me or Kel a call and we'll set it up. Tell anyone who might not read my LJ too. Any Wells girls want to go, it would probably be easier for you to just meet us in Syracuse.

Well it's been a while, so I just thought I'd update.

Life is pretty much the same at home. My parents keep insisting that "im going through a phase" They like to pretend that Kelly dosent exist.

Kelly and I just got back from 2 days away at Charlotte's Creeside Inn. Kelly and I decided that we should get all our friends to stay there. Everyone was SO nice, we were a little worried they wouldnt allow a gay couple. The room and food were AMAZING. There was a hot tub right in the room, really, who needs anything else? ;)

I got home yesterday and no one even asked how it went, they pretty much acted like I never went anywhere. When I tried to explain it was an early 1 yr anniversary get away, my mom said, and I quote "Dont make me vomit in your face" so yeah...things at home suck and Im really thinking about moving in with Kelly. I would have done it sooner, but Im so afraid for my horses, because they keep telling me they're going to sell them if I dont "get off my ass and work"

What they don't understand is that having the horses here IS a 24/7 job. Im doing my best to advertise for lessons and boarding. Ive gotten a few calls, but no one has actually followed through. It's not like i can get a "normal" 9-5 job, because I have to be here for the horses, UGH. I do need to do something though, with the price of gas and my car EATS gas! The one job that I do have (teaching riding lessons at another barn) is really only when she needs me, so it's not even consistent.

Kelly sold her SUV because of the gas and got a car, makes me a little sad, but she had to do it. I think my SUV is going to be the next to go, only I dont have the money for a car...

Anyway, this wasnt supposed to be a pitty me entry.

I cant wait to see everyone at Odd/Even, I miss my Wells girls SO much, Gigs especially...I dont know what to do with myself, I miss siging a lot.

Anyway, I must get to work up at the barn.

Instead of updating on everything that is going on in my life, I will just say this:

I just got back from seeing one of the most amazing movies...EVERYONE and i mean EVERYONE NEEDS to go see Crash. Kelly and I decided that it should be mandatory that everyone sees it.

Don't ask questions, just go!

I should be drying my hair and getting ready...yet Im freaking out about graduating in about 2 and a half hours...AHHHHH

CA is wonderful so far, got here at around 9 last night, 12 Eastern time, so we pretty much went to bed.

almost 70 degrees today!! Its SO nice to get away from the cold and snow

Spent a good part of the morning with Kel at the beach, and then just took it easy, Kellys family is wonderful, her cousins are so cute and fun! Im really glad to be here :)

More later, time for dinner!

What an amazing last Semi-formal...

After watching the video this morning, Gigs wasn't as bad as I thought...but we still need work before the final concert.

I can't express how much fun I had...I love my roomies and Chelle Carr...and of course Kelly :) :)
